Dr. Marceline Akieh-Pirkanniemi, Director, Head of Analytical Development
Finnish drug delivery technology and drug development company DelSiTech Ltd announces and welcomes Dr. Marceline Akieh-Pirkanniemi, as the new Director, Head of Analytical Development. The new position took effect in the beginning of January 2020.
Marceline Akieh-Pirkanniemi has a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Åbo Akademi University. She brings with her 12 years of analytical experience gained from her time in both academia and the private sector. She has long-term experience of working with biodegradable and non-biodegradable drug delivery/carrier systems. She has worked as an analytical specialist in other pharmaceutical companies. Her core competence includes drug substance and excipient characterization using chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques.
